Built by HUJI, Made in JLM, and PWS
IRIS is a partnership between the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Made in JLM, and Problems Worth Solving. The program was formed in 2025 as part of the Israel Innovation Authority and Ministry of Defense grant for startup programs for miluimnikim, thanks to generous matching support from the Crown Family Foundation.

IRIS operates at ASPER-HUJI Innovate at the Hebrew University Givat Ram Campus, with access to partners like Hebrew U's advanced nano and applied physics labs, Shaare Zedek Hospital, Gav Yam Tech Park, and more.

Defense, industry, investors, and Jerusalem tech
The program works with leading defense and innovation partners including MAFAT, the Israel Innovation Authority, RAFAEL, Elbit, industry leaders, investors, and the Jerusalem tech ecosystem through Made in JLM.
